Designed for a young and growing family, this Belgravia townhouse balances warmth, comfort and practicality with a refined architectural approach. Taking the client’s art collection as a starting point, the interiors use colour, texture and pattern to create spaces that feel layered, relaxed and reflective of the family’s personality and heritage.

Designed for a young and growing family, this Belgravia townhouse balances warmth, comfort and practicality with a refined architectural approach. Taking the client’s art collection as a starting point, the interiors use colour, texture and pattern to create spaces that feel layered, relaxed and reflective of the family’s personality and heritage.
A closer look
The walls of the previously dark dining room are painted with an uplifting gloss paint in the colour Celery Salt, while the backs of the cabinets feature internal lighting and a metallic gold paint that lends a subtle shimmer to the objects displayed within. The dining table is a mid-century design by Eero Saarinen, paired with 1950s Italian chairs upholstered in sunshine yellow velvet. A blue cashmere-covered window seat matches the curtain enclosing the kitchen in place of a door, and the red of a rug from Azerbaijan lends warmth and ties in with the Lucio Fontana artwork above the fireplace.
